About Zoya
As both an athlete and an artist, Zoya’s camera has led her on expeditions to mountain ranges across several continents. Featured in The Globe and Mail, Outside, National Geographic Adventure and almost every ski magazine you can think of and she’s worked with brands such as The North Face, K2 Skis, Patagonia, Parks Canada, Destination BC, Atomic and Arcteryx.
As a former member of the Canadian Ski Jumping Team she was an active lobbyist in the fight to include women’s ski jumping into the 2014 Olympic Games. Zoya continues to work collaboratively with women in the outdoors and she is dedicated to carving out a space within the industry to share their stories, perspectives and achievements.
To say Zoya is an accomplished photographer and filmmaker is an understatement and it is my pleasure to have her on the show as our feature photographer to tell us all about the business of professional photography!
